Rheumatoid Arthritis Briefly Explained!
Rheumatoid arthritis is a chronic autoimmune disorder that primarily affects joints. It is caused when the immune system is not functioning properly. It is an autoimmune medical condition, in which your body’s defense system or immune system mistakes the linings of your joints as “foreign,” and attacks and damages them, resulting in pain and inflammation. It typically results in swollen, warm and painful joints. Pain and stiffness usually worsen following the rest. The wrist and hands are involved most commonly, with the same joints typically involved on both sides of the body.
